ShowUp was born out of a music activism nonprofit whose mission was to connect artists' fans and resources to nonprofits in their touring markets. Between 2017-2019, Mission Impact created campaigns in over 70 US cities, driving awareness, volunteers, and funding to organizations supporting at-risk and marginalized communities at the local level.

The goal of ShowUp is to provide that platform of impact for all artists. We hope to make it simple, fast, and easy for every artist to find a reputable nonprofit organization supporting a cause that matters to them, create a fundraising campaign with donations going directly to the organization, share that campaign with their audience, and keep a public record of the organizations and causes they support.

Built and backed by musicians and movement and music-industry leaders, ShowUp recognizes and amplifies the voice of every artist interested in using their position to promote positive change. Through a network of forward-thinking industry partners and an evolving suite of tools to maximize impact, ShowUp helps artists, fans, and the greater music industry community effectively support the causes that matter to them.
